Saint Petersburg, Florida is an absolutely beautiful location, first of all! Then add an amazing couple preparing for their big day, yes please!

You may ask why I only have two locations on my top engagement shoot locations for Saint Petersburg, Florida. Simple, you cannot get more out of these two locations than you will get with these two.

Philipe Park, Safety Harbor, Florida (525 Philippe Pkwy, Safety Harbor, FL 34695)

Philippe Park is absolutely stunning. The park in Safety Harbor encompasses mature natural Florida: the trees, plants, and even the steps have been there for hundreds of years. You can find remnants of the Indians that once lived there, as well as the man who the park is named after. Safety Harbor is 15 minutes from Saint Petersburg, Florida. Right on Safety Harbor Bay, Philippe Park offers scenic beach views, amazing fields, old steps, and some of the greatest oaks and fauna you will see in Florida.

Fort (Ft) Desoto Beach and Park, Saint Petersburg, Florida (3500 Pinellas Bayway S, Tierra Verde, FL 33715)

Ft Desoto is located directly on Tampa Bay. A peninsula running the south of Saint Pete Beach and Saint Petersburg. Ft Desoto is an old Spanish outpost, which you can still tour and see today. The fort is a great area for photos, but that isn’t the only location. Fields with wild wheat, the original spanish stone, and the rubble of parts of the base litter the surrounding areas around Ft Desoto. There is also a dog beach area, a camping area, and lots of places to cycle, run, or swim.
